What we do with your data
Short version: we don't track you, we don't set cookies, and the only personal information we hold is whatever you typed into our contact form. The long version is below, and it's also short.
01 — Who we are
The company behind the site
Kreativist is an audio and production studio in Slovenia. For the purposes of data protection law, the company is the data controller.
02 — What we collect
Almost nothing, and only if you write to us
Fill in the contact form and we get four things: your name, your email address, your company if you gave one, and your message. We ask for those because it's hard to write back without them.
Two more things get recorded automatically. Neither one tells us who you are.
- A one-way hash of your IP address, so nobody can flood the form with junk. We can't turn the hash back into an address — that's the point of it.
- Ordinary web-server logs: which page was asked for, when, and from which address.
02 — Who else sees it
Two companies, plus YouTube if you press play
Your message passes through a couple of services on the way to our inbox. This is the whole list.
- Resend - carries the notification email from our server to us.
- Hetzner - runs the server everything lives on. It sits in Nuremberg, so your data stays inside the EU.
- YouTube - but only if you press play on a video. Our players are a still image until you click - nothing reaches Google before that.
03 — How long we keep it
Until you ask us to delete it
Your message sits with us until you tell us to get rid of it. Just email hello@kreativist.si and say so.
